Boron: On the tenth day (doshomi) maa Durga leaves her parent's house and goes back to her husband (Shiva) in Koilash mountain. Before that, devotees bid her a tearful goodbye, married ladies smear sindoor (vermilion - a symbol of marriage in hindu religion) on her forehead, offer her sweets and betlenut leaf and ask her to come back again next year.
Sindoor khela: After devi (goddess) boron, married ladies perform sindoor (vermilion) khela (play), they smear sindoor on each other's face , share sweets and dance on the beats of dhak (drum). They wish each other good luck for their long married life.
